07.24.10Community Recycling Day!Join us at the first ever Kern Schools Federal Credit Union Community Recycling Day on Saturday, July 24, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. - noon at the Kern Schools Corporate Offices, 9500 Ming Avenue (just west of the Marketplace).
Clean out that garage or store room by bringing your e-waste (old t.v.'s, computers, printers, etc), personal shredding and recycling. Learn more about the programs and industries of BARC and stay for a barbecued hot dog and drinks!
Habitat for Humanity Restore will be on hand to take furniture donations, Houchin Blood Bank will have their mobile donation van on site and several other local organizations will be providing information on how easy it is to GO GREEN!

A backyard party and auction benefitting BARC and the Jasmine Nyree Day Center will take place on Friday, August 13, 2010 at 5:30 p.m. at the home of Joey and Christy Porter.
Enjoy a fabulous dinner and refreshing cocktails while bidding on unique gift packages and NFL memorabilia in the silent and live auctions. Enter the raffle to win an exciting trip.
